Beginning in the fall of 2005, Brooklyn based singer Carolyn Sills has revived what country music fans miss most: the true experience of hearing the classic songbook of Patsy Cline performed live with authenticity and passion. Backed by her ace combo, The Poor Man’s Roses, Carolyn’s performance will transport you back to the late 1950’s as she captures Patsy’s classic swoon and heart wrenching emotion with every note. From up-tempo honky tonk to cry in your beer ballads, music fans of all ages can’t help but enjoy this one of a kind musical experience. The show is perfect for theaters, restaurant performances, country theme nights, outdoor festivals, resorts, casinos, honky tonks and shot gun weddings...
In addition to her all Patsy Cline tribute, Carolyn also performs a Tribute to the Songs of the 50s and 60s, featuring hits sung by Connie Francis, Dusty Springfield, Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Peggy Lee and many others. Audiences can't help but sing along to these famous tunes performed flawlessly by Ms. Sills and her band.
